Great qb's find ways to win even when players are out. I have seen it many times, when stars start making all kind of commercials and other things outside of their sport, their play suffers. After winning MVP last year, his head only got bigger.
Honestly i would take maysfield over allen any day.

Bills coaches have a lot to blame for also. They for sure dont have players ready for game day.

and they keep signing these old stars that end up on the injury list more then the play list. Allen has been doing so many money making ventures outside of football and just married, hes probably got very little time left to actually watch game film, without falling asleep.
