I think the OP is talking about the Jets future with this trade.
Personally I don't think that Sauce Gardner is worth two 1st's, not even close. The dude has 3 picks in almost 4 years, 2 of them in his rookie year. His pass deflections have gone down significantly since that rookie year, along with his PFF grade.
So in that regard, the Jets won this trade long term. Clearly the Colts can win now, so it makes sense to upgrade at the CB position.
Yea the Jets have Justin Fields now, but they'll surely draft a qb you'd think next year. They have accumulated a ton of draft picks as well, so we'll see what they look like in 2 years.
I mean they are 1-7, if not rebuild now then when?

All true and I agree but now he has a chance to be re-enthused. Play for a team that ownership doesn’t care can take some of the juice from a man’s heart, and will. It’s on him to make a point. No excuses.
