Im not saying I think its a bad pick but I dont understand all the love for the Jets.

The Jets are trash. Seems like everyone loves them today and Im just wondering why? Like I said Im not saying its a bad pick, tbh I dont have much feel for this game but I am just curious and trying to understand why everyone is so sure that the worst team in the NFL is going to cover a +7.

So far the only reasoning Im seen is

1) The game is in London

2) Broncos beat the Eagles last week

3) The Jets arent going anywhere this year so they must be a liock today  

Don;t get me wrong I mean we live in a world where people are literal cavemen looking up at the stars and wondering if we are the only life in the unvierse so I can't say Im shocked or anything by this level of sheer lunacy, I would just love for a person to give me 1 valid reason for any sane minded rational individual to  bet on this absolute dumpster fire of an organization.

Agree JGape. And when I get swayed and take the Jets and they play like the Jets and lose huge then Monday when I look in the mirror and repeat after me. Did I really take the Jets, really? The Jets. O M G!

NFL any given Sunday.  For Jets this is their Super Bowl.

With all due respect, Jimmy, but why did you start this thread then if you have no interest in this game but you’re wondering why everybody else is are you just looking for attention just asking? 

I do have interest in the game, Im up early see that? Im trying to understand why people like the Jets. I said I don't have a feel for it.

As expected I have yet to hear one answer that contains a shred of logic or reasoning.

Not on here to argue and insult anyone but here are a few reasons why someone may wager on the Jets today (I’ve seen 2 people on the jets after reading 2 pages of posts)

1) Back to back road games for Denver and this one is a long way from home //  this does affect players believe it or not 

2) Denver and New York jets have similar stats on O, not a large discrepancy between them. However, Denver has the much better D but that is because Jets rush D is the worst in the league / some may think Jets Rush D miraculously shows up? Does Denver exploit that?

3) Some people may think Fields is better than Nix ?? // Both have similar QB ratings, Fields with a couple of missed games but he does give the Jets a chance as he doesn’t turn the ball over at all. Nix on the other hand does and isn’t very accurate with his passes / Jets pass D isn’t bad 

4) Jets lost to Pittsburgh on a very long field goal last second of the game and another last second field goal to Tampa. Each of those teams only have one loss and they played them competitively (Denver not as good as some people may say)

 Coaches do try to motivate.  Trying to get everyone to play every game as if it’s the Super Bowl isn’t so easy.   You got guys like Brady and Ray Lewis who can bring that almost every game.  Then you got Gus that can only bring that intensity for a quarter.  

Broncos w a turnover. Jets kick a fg to score first points of the game.

The Jets thought this is their Super Bowl but Bo Nix still sliced them up like a Thanksgiving turkey on that drive.

For some reason thinking this is their super bowl didn't make them smarter and faster.

you said all this against the jets but nowhere does it say you bet against them so what's the point.
