Would that have ended the game as a TIE? or would LAR have gotten the ball back? genuinely confused with new OT rules

If both teams score a touchdown in NFL overtime, the game continues in sudden death after the second team's touchdown

Rams would have the ball back..game only ends in tie/draw, if its a tie game when the clock runs out.

Love MacDonald and a huge hawks fan but that call wasn’t gutsy it was necessary. The clock was in tie territory which benefitted the Rams. A loss is basically the same as a tie for the hawks. 

 

Ps. You shouldn’t make your largest NFL bet on a coin flip especially on the road.

The announcers said multiple times a tie would favor Rams so you already knew Seahawks were going for 2

I get what you’re saying but didn’t know that a loss or tie would net the same result for Seattle.

Regardless the benefit. McDonald was going for 2 to win the game. With only 3 mins left, going for 2 was the right play win or lose.
