I actually think the weather favors Miami. They have the faster WR's and RBs to take any short throw the distance. Also, they all have the better hands than the KC group.
KC players have been dropping regular temperature balls, how do you think they will do catching a frozen one? 
I don't think u understand how big it is to get back Waddle who has missed the last 3 games..got injured in the 1st quarter of Dallas Game.....Teams putting a safety over the top on Hill and going man on everyone else, with the like of Choses Anderson/Chase Claypool/Cendric Willson who are all scrubs.....They can't do that consistently on Hill with Waddle in the lineup...Dolphins on offense will be close to full strength..Monstert should be back as well as he missed the last 2 games...Monster and Achane and Hill and Waddle and OL 3 of 5 starters all back as Robert Hunt came back last game.
This is one of those games I think you look back on and think what was I thinking taking Miami over KC in 0 degree weather . I’m not dismissing how bad Chiefs have looked in the regular season , but they have a different gear in January. Let’s not pretend the Dolphins are world beaters

That's a valid consideration but not sure it outweighs the fact that Miami has historically been terrible in gms below freezing & Tua is 0-4 in games below 45 degrees with a QB rating of less than 80. My guess is KC leans heavily on Pacheco in the run gm & out of the backfield utilizing Kelce & their other tight end while taking selective downfield shots...mostly mid-range. Probably a stay away gm for me...too much uncertainty & conflicting pros/cons.

Tell they were bad last year...Both times in Buffalo in below 45 degree weather/snow....12/22/22..Lost 32-29...Dolphins had a 10 point lead 2nd half....1/15/23...In Buffalo lost 34-31.Dolphihns had a 7 point lead 2nd Half...Wild card playoffs...I guess they played bad and can't play in cold weather...Covered the spread both games easily and should have won the 1st game..
Meaningless stat....Mike McDaniel and his offense with Tyreke Hill has only been there 2 years..Brian Flores team was a dumpster fire.
I hear you but still maybe, maybe not. Add in one of the best home field crowds/advantages & arguably the best/most creative QB in the league & it being not just cold but below zero, I can't back the Fins. GL if you do
davemsh...when temps get below 10, it always matters...wind/snow or no wind/snow though obviously that makes it much worse...wind far more than snow. No idea what Mahomes rating is under 45 degrees, but am sure it's not near the dropoff that Tua's is. Couldn't be...KC has played a number of gms under 45 in the Mahomes years...& naturally many of 'em were in the playoffs.

11-1 overall (& 10-2 ATS) at home when the temperature is 35 degrees or less.

Once again u deflecting..What is his passer rating in under 45 degree weather? Maholmes has been in a Perfect situation since being drafted in 2017. Entire career with a stacked team/one of the best offensive head coaches.etc...Came into the league and was handed silver platter..never had to play on a bad dysfunctional team..was able to sit out 1 year....So u pointing out the W/L record of the cheifs in under 45 degree weather in his career? ...When he has been in the league 4 more years than TUA?

His last game in under 45 degree weather...was in Buffalo last December...27 degree and 20 MPH winds with light snow although it was a blizzard the end of the game...17-30 234 Yards...2TD's No INTS... Dolphins had the lead 29-21 11 minutes to go in the 4th quarter..Covered the +7 Spread...Lost 32-29.. U want to go back to when he was with Brian Flores and that team and use that as an example go ahead..But can't play in cold weather is the most overrated stat when he has payed in less than 4 years and dolphins did not make the playoffs 1st 2 years with Brian Flores...
So what is it? Not nearly the drop? As compared to what/ I bet it drops significantly? Tua is not the same Tua as in his 1st 2 years with the Dolphins...Maholmes came into the league with a stacked ass team..U remember Alex Smith and what he did with the Chiefs prior to Maholmes....So u comparing Maholmes and his stacked teams sample size when they played in more games to a limited amount for Tua. If they were both in the league for 7-8 years.. u can make the comparison..Tua's last game @ Buffalo in cold/ bad weather.. Must have been really bad.. All the narrative was he can't play in the cold..They almost beat Buffalo and should of and he has a great game and then the narrative changes again..Hilarious...Its like everyone back then said..Tyreke hill will complain about Tua when he goes to Miami..yet he has career years the last 2 years in Yards and TD's and yet when he was with Maholmes..he is numbers were not nearly as good.. U seen all the dropped passes Hill has had the last 3 games..Tua is getting all the blame..Hill has dropped so many big passes the last 3 games..

Agree that the effect of the cold on Tua is & has probably been overdone somewhat. Still, imo it will affect their longer passing game more than KC's with Mahomes ability to run & create. Btw, they're predicting gusts up to 28mph in addition to the frigid temps.

Oh, my mistake....it was YOU that asked the question. I stand corrected. I am glad I was able to help you out and answer your question on how Mahomes and KC does in cold weather.....I wasn't aware of Tua's stats you provided. Although, "fantasy stats" aren't a big deal when you are just talking about who wins the game. I can tell you Mahomes' fantasy stats are not great in cold weather either (unless its a snow game)....but like you said, "common sense" right....
