 It’s every game now. Basically turned into nba . Just watch the last 2 minutes. No point in watching the whole game even if it looks like a blowout.

Anytime a team leads by 7+ in the 4th Q look for a holding call to be called on their ensuing offensive possession....happened in almost every game this season...JSN holding call last night

I think its less about a script and more about playing prevent or just conservative in general.

They let them march down the field banking they could stop em in the red zone.

 Agreed. I dont buy into scripted or anything like that, but if you watch enough games you will see many offensive holding or defensive illegal contact that helps get the trailing team back into the game. They can call these penalties on almost every play so I have no doubt the NFL has instructed referees on how to call penalties to even up the matchup. 

Seattle dominated the entire game.

There is also something to what unplucked gem said in that teams with a lead with not a lot of time remaining will play a prevent style defense to make sure if the other team scores they at least dont give up a quick score and keep that clock moving.
