I understand that he loves going for 4th down plays, but at the end of the first half he went for it when he should've punted. You K.C. deep in their own zone with 2:42 left in the half. Instead they get great field position and a TD. Changed the momentum. I guess he didn't learn from 2 years ago when he blew the NFC Championship game vs S.F. 

Great motivater and his players play hard for him. He is way to big of a risk taker and that will always come back to bite you. The Lions are a very good team but his decision making in crucial times will prevent them from being a great team.

On the last drive with the 2 min warning as a timeout he literally

passed three straight downs when a quick draw would of got a 

1st down. Not like it mattered by sheer stupiditity.

Kc scores a TD same thing doesn’t matter. But if DET scores their and runs the clock, that gives them a chance to win with KC getting ball 2h

Those fourth down gambles are just like losing a fumble when they don’t work. Against the Bears its no big deal. These good teams love it when goes on 4th down. 

Dan has helped turned a terrible NFL franchise into one of the top 6.  It's because of the risk taking that they've seen such success, even when it doesnt work sometimes.

the Loins were bound to struggle some this year without their coordinators but they are still a very good team.  

I am of the opinion that coaches cant see the forest through the trees and should not have the responsibility of game management decisions. I cant believe no organization has hired a new position of game manager yet. They need a guy that sits up in the box w the coordinators and is divorced from the emotional swings of the game and can make sound game management and flow decisions.

My take on this “super aggressive” mentality is this-

If you’re going to coach this way, especially in last night’s game where Campbell made it a point to say that he knew they needed 30 points to win, I think he should have stuck to his guns even more! On the first possession I think he should have gone for the TD even after the penalty for the illegal pass play. He was committed to going for it from the 2 yard line but then got scared away from the 7 yard line? It’s arguable that it is EASIER to score from the 7 (or 6 or 8 whatever it was) than from that close. He was never going to win that game kicking fgs with the injuries to the secondary. 

In general I hate that teams are giving up field goals to go for 4th down so much, but if you’re going to have that mindset I think you should at least commit to it 100%.

I think the turning point was when he went for 4th and 2, and the receiver drop a perfect thrown ball, it went Down hill after that

It actually doesn't matter who you're playing. 4thn 2 from the +42 yard line is automatic go for it territory 100% of the time in the 2nd Q. KC also turned a corner very obviously since the Ravens win

They lost to the Packers, did Beat the shit of the Ravens but like I said in the post above, they did so going for those 4th down plays, their Defense is still sorry as F! Lets not forget they were blown out by the Commanders in the playoffs and basically have the same D. 

Yes the Bears, Browns and Bengals arent teams you brag about beating! Ravens D was just as horrible and Lamar straight sucked that game!
