This is something I could never understand. The Bengals challenged the spot of the ball on 3rd down. The ref had marked the ball a yard short of the first down. After the challenge they respotted the ball to about a half yard short, but Cincy loses the challenge. If the challenge is that the ball was spotted incorrectly, shouldn’t the Bengals have won the challenge?
