Was not only thinking the same thing, but TWO were to end the game. One to win the game the other to cover a dead -3.5 spread

 Hitting the uprights? You think they are good enough to do that on purpose with wind and guys running and jumping at them from 40 and 50 yds out? Or do you believe the football is remote controlled by some nerd in a bunker? Come on man that is absurd even as far as conspiracies go to think they can hit it on purpose. lol of course they're not hitting the post on purpose. The kicks are manipulated in some one.  Growing up watching this shit. Hitting the post was very rare. They hit it every week multiple times now
