Darnold isn't a household name yet but he should be.  He was fantastic with Minny last season and picked up right where he left off with Seattle.

He did what Favre did when he lost his father. Basically same numbers in 1st hf

Not even seeing ghosts could have stopped him tonight.  Guess he is becoming the real deal.

 Until he had a nervous breakdown in the playoff game, he cost the vikings the game. When they played Houston this year, he was great in the first half and then in the second half he was a PICK machine. He had a great game but Redskins defense is God damn horrible.

I had a long thread about the Vikings last year. The conversation turned to Sam Darnold. 

The general consensus was that he sucked, no one believed in him even when he was tearing up the league. 

Low and behold he had one bad game in the playoffs and everyone confirmed their beliefs that he sucked. 

The dude is a really good QB. We'll just have to see if he gets overwhelmed in a playoff game again this year.

What I saw in the first half was different mate.. thats highest end of tier 1 type stuff.... 

AND

he is doing this with a mediocre (at very best) O-line

It does help that he has for me the most dynamic receiver in the game but he is threading needles an, its not 5yard stuff, its pure vertical attack mode

He has reached a further lvl thus far this year

and 1H again, was the best half I’ve ever seen from a QB

it’s a dollars thing.. 35-40M freed up to better the roster, really in a bind given already drafted JJ and it doesn’t help how the season ended…

JJ gonna be good

but darnold looks like the starting QB on a top contender ie tier1… and that’s literally what every single team searches to find over many years
