The following question was asked of Bears HC Ben Johnson this week. I think his answer speaks volumes for the future of the Chicago Bears! Bear Down! The question and Coach Johnson's answer are inside the link below. Go Bears!
A reporter at Johnson's press conference asked him whether he used to play the Madden video game when he was younger and whether he was more of a passer or a runner. Not sure if this would be truly showing his age, but Johnson shared his experience with the game.
"Occasionally," Johnson said. "I always liked taking the bad teams and doing Franchise mode and try to build them up from there. More of a thrower."

I am not into the head coach being a rah rah cheerleader. If he wants to do that wear a skirt and join the girls.
I can't picture Paul Brown, Vince Lombardi, Don Shula, Chuck Noll, Tom Landry, or Bill Belichick acting like that. A different generation, I get it.
Is it part of a head coach's job to motivate players? I will bet anything that the great dynasty teams had self motivated players and that their head coaches spent their time analyzing the Xs and Os and not practicing motivational speeches with quotable word salads.
Being a bloviating gasbag will only take you so far unless you have the game plans and preparation to back it up. Seems to me, BJ has that too, so I will give him a pass on waving the pom poms.

Ben Johnson is the proving to be the best choice at this moment in time as HC of the Chicago Bears. The losing culture inside the Bears locker room has been eliminated. They have won games this year that they never would have won in previous years. The players will run through the proverbial brick wall for this guy! Johnson has the team prepared each and every week. The NFL is in trouble when Caleb is more seasoned. The last thing I will say before I write a book. Johnson is great with clock management. Ben Jonson is now the 2nd choice as Coach of the Year at DK's at 3-1! Bear Down Chicago Bears!

Thanks for posting the link as I'm not even on the team but was highly motivated as the players were on that clip. I was fortunate to be alive to witness the 85 championship as an adult and this team and that link you sent and as I watched it and with no bullshit put many a tears in my eye of that flashback 85 season, and I must say this 2025 team is special, very special and I'm not saying that they are going to the Superbowl but only saying.... Just don't be surprised if and when they do
When I win Money it's my money and NOT house money
