Assange Samuel Jnr A Steeler

He had spinal fusion surgery in April but is cleared to play now. Hasn't played since September of 2024.

Steelers' secondary needs help with Slay and Porter Jnr out. Steelers have the Bills, Lions, and Ravens twice on their dance card, but first the high scoring Bengals.  Should read Assante in header.

I know Porter Jr is out, did Slay get hurt too? didn't see that

Samuel is on their practice squad so no doubt he isn't in game shape and won't be for at least a couple of weeks. IMO he will be in the lineup when they play the Bills in week #13.

Samuel is only 26 and he might be a diamond in the rough if he can stay healthy. It was worth a try IMO. 

Steeler secondary is depleted and they suck even when healthy (ranked dead last in passing yardage given up). Corner Slay is out and Porter Junior left the Charger game with a hand injury. Last look Jalen Ramsey is playing 2 high safety with Dugger. The prior game the Steelers put Ramsey in man coverage with Chase and he was torched all game long. 

Flacco is putting up big numbers on the scoreboard so what has changed since he sliced and diced the Steelers in Cincy? Steelers' D is ranked 31st in time of possession. They are showing signs of burnout which happens year after year. Groundhog day once again. 

If the Steelers were to lose this game, it would be the end of their season. So be it.
