yeah was wondering same thing.. I thought very likely they go for 2 capitalize on momentum and if they convert its very +ev to win vs kicking EP your like best case flipping a coin there 

kicker basically gave seahawks the game , what’s up with these dumbass nfl kickoffs anyway, they wanna protect the players , Yet they make them play

capitalize on momentum for sure. Add in that kickers are making 55 yard field goals routine. 2 or 3 plays and your in position

 Indeed it drips of hyprocrisy. Rules for safety yet they play multiple games in less than a week. And soon on all seven continents and then Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Friday night games on the Moon!  No brutal travel schedule there chartered or not.

Your job is not on the line and that's why you can say that in your couch.  If the 2 points conversion does not fall through, who's getting the drill here? It the coach.  Kicking the EP has a higher chances of getting the 1 point n the heat will be off the coaches head.  He's making the decision to save his job.  Now the result of that penalty kick off, is it the coaches fault?  Poor defense to give Seattle the fg range, is that the coaches fault? 

Unless your opponent is a given winner in OT because they are that good and you fear them, going for two to steal the game is off the table.

 mathematically speaking if you have a play that you believe is 45%+ of succeeding there the edge is going for 2.. just in terms of math not factoring in how awful your team played all game and capturing the momentum..

Would their momentum carries over in ot too?  Remember, only dan Campbell is a gambler. 

It's just unfortunate that it was a penalty with that kickoff otherwise, az would have a chance to win it in OT, whether they win the coin toss or not.

If az makes the 2 points conversion, the time doesn't move so Seattle will match down for a fg win, 23-21

If az doesn't convert, game would be over at 20-19 as Seattle takes a knee.  AZ +1.5 or +2 wins the money 

Agreed. Special teams and Defense would have still screwed the pooch. Its all semantics. Cardinals’ still would have lost the game. That game was actually lost in that lethargic offensive first half.  The second half was just torture if you are a Cardinal fan. 

Kicker got activated by whoever holds the big madden controller in the press box to cause that nearly impossible flag . Same thing happened to dolphins d linesmen who miraculously ran into the kicker
