Boston is going to pull a small upset in Cleveland Biggest play of the playoffs so far

The Celtics have looked like sh*t on the road, but they have the talent and they will adjust to Rondo not being guarded at all. Rivers is a shity coach, but he has a talented team and a smart team. Lebron will not be all smiles after this game, the Celtics walk away with a 3-1 series lead because Lebron gets no help on offense in close games, if there up early then West and Wally look good. Celtics come out fired up tomorrow, either that or else there losing this series...Celtics are going to win. Bank it and take the small odds in your favor on ML

i don't know, you could have easily said that about Atlanta, a far less superior team, but still went to game 7.

Rivers is a shity coach, but he has a talented team and a smart team.

A talented and smart team is still useless with a shity coach at the helm. Look at the Zen Master being able to consistently take the Lakers team to the play-offs. That's plainly good coaching right there. The play-offs isn't just all about talent or how well the team have performed in the regular season. Coaching is a huge factor here. Just look at how the Spurs elminated the Suns.

True, but coaching cant win 100% of the time. It has in the playoffs near 90% of the time, but Garnett Pierce and Allen, 3 superstars who have never really shined in the playoffs. They had a letdown game 3, they werent all tehre, and the Cavs ran up the score and had their all-out game. Garnett Pierce and Allen didnt come this far to risk a 3 game series. This will be a diff. Celtics team then we have seen on the road so far, IF West and Wally drain 3s then Cavs win...but the D is going to be there tonight, Rivers is a good defensive coach. The Cavs dont have as much athleticism as the Hawks did, I actually think Boston matches up a lot better at Cleveland then at Atlanta...they had there blow off/basically rest game...tonight they come out and get the win SU. Count on it

Garnett is the only player playing consistent basketball in that roster. Pierce and Allen have been out of the game twice already.

Rivers shouldn't be getting credit for the defense when it's really his assistant Thibodeau who has been a defensive genius for years in the league.

If Boston had a "letdown" in Game 3, then there's no excuse for it given the importance of their next road game following the embarrassing 0-for-3 in the Atlanta series.  If they didn't have it in them to show up in a big way when they knew the whole basketball world was watching to see if they could play a better game on the road, then I don't see how they'll fix their problems tonight.  But I'll continue searching for possible explanations if anyone wants to offer any.

Like meowdog said above, you could have said the same thing prior to Game 4 in Atlanta, but still the Celtics went out and got beat again.

IMHO, the best play is to see how the 1st half goes then bet the 2nd half either for or agaist the C's.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the playoffs, when the C's are up at the half, they have strectched their leads in the 2nd half for blowouts and easy covers (except for the game 1 against the Cavs).  When they are down at the half, they don't seem to make any halftime adjustments and get blownout.  They did show some heart in the 3rd quarter of Game 5 in Atlanta, but fizzled out in that 4th quarter. 
 
Just like Game 3, tonight will come down to guard play.
 
Ray Allen has shown no signs of life and this is a bad spot to bet that he will show up tonight.  He seems distracted and simply fades out offensively and defensively during games.  Someone needs to get on his ass and call him out for being outplayed and outhustled by Wally Sczerbiak!!!!
 
Sam Cassell is money at home and garbage on the road.  West and Gibson are WAY quicker than he is and can contain that mid-range jumper he loves easily.  He get's killed defensively as well.  Are you willing to bet that he's going to score 10-15 points tonight?
 
Unless Rondo developed a jumper overnight, West will continue to roam around freely to double KG and Pierce on the post.  I'm not willing to bet my hard earned money on a suspect Rondo jumper.

p.s. I'm a HUGE Celtics fan and I hope they win every game.  However, a smart bettor knows to keep your heart out of betting.

 cleveland cruises .. James had a half ass legit game the other night and they still won.. Lets face it Cleves got some expierance after losing to detroit last year and i feel Boston doesnt have the expiernce to really settle in like they have all season.. My play is cleve.. Good luck
