MJ and the Bulls don't ring a bell?  The Bulls only had big centers that filled the paint.  You don't remember?  Bulls won with MJ, Pippen, strong forward Grant and a big center and good 3 pt shooting guard like Hansen and Kerr.

I'm not saying Dallas will win but anything is possible. 

Dallas has the ability to drive to the hoop as well as shoot jumpers.  They are comfortable with both.  Miami will not have the luxury of clogging the paint or worrying about one or two scorers. 

Dallas can get cold but the past 8-9 games have shown they haven't.  Lakers did clog the paint and Dallas happily shot jumpers and rained down 3s. 

I never said that Dallas will look for the jumpshot First.  I did say they will take it all day if Miami wants to give them shooting space.

Mavs in 5. The Bulls were not built to win in the playoffs and the Celtics were middling performers since the Perkins trade. The Heat were simply playing well against inferior competition. The Mavs are the superior team, and it's really not that close.

No question. The Heat are running head on into a mack truck and will not survive the collision. Mavs win game 1, the only game the Heat might win is game 2, and the Mavs sweep them after that. Would honestly be very shocked if it doesn't follow that pattern. The only derivation I could see is game 1 and 2 being flip flopped and maybe the refs crank up the foul calls for the Heat for a game in Dallas which would send it to 6, but I'll stick with the 5 games call. Dallas is just too good for this Heat team.
