You are SOOOOO right!!! The crazy part is hearing what the players have been throwing games for. Relative to their salary/contract it's pennies unless there's something law enforcement hasn't figured out yet. I heard at least one player was getting cash delivered to his home but there's also the possibility that they are paid in other ways that isn't as easily traced/tracked/visible.
What blows my mind is ….. they sign contracts in the millions and 5 years later, they are flat broke.
Each man & adult will reap what they sow. I’m an old dude and learned that “integrity” will go far at home & work . I work with young men and I try to reinforce living with a “moral compass”. Do the right thing 24-7 !!!! As you get older ,you will have the opportunity for promotions and most of the time , it will be based on past performance . It’s not a perfect system but I also have a saying , Wealth is better built on the foundation of Education.

It doesn't blow my mind at all that these guys end up flat broke after a few years even making all that money. Many of these guys have no clue about money management remember your career in sports is much much shorter than say a doctor or lawyer making six figure a year so the money you make needs to be invested but many go out and blow it cars homes whatever and then they hit 40 and they got nothing left and no way to generate an income
It’s one thing to dress up nice but the NFL players have 3 diamond necklaces during the game …… REALLY ??????
I’m not pissed or grumpy but I now have to pay $400 a ticket to go see these guys play ,…., no thanks . Years ago $50-100 was reasonable. Ticket prices are getting worse and through the roof !!!!!!
