Milw made it close lastnight - didn't win out right as stated but they covered.   0-1 for the record.    Let's look at some numbers:

      Bos   21  

-1   NO   40   

NO opened as a 1 pt fav currently -2  for Bos  (madduxsports.com) .   I give Bos a rating of 21 and NO 40  - typically lower the number the better the team.    However, you need to compare the ratings with history against the opening number and find similar situations -maybe not exact but close.    In this situation found several and the data indicates take the away team or Boston.    My plays tonite:

1. Bos  ML -125   

2. Utah Pk   

3. Memphis  +8.5

We hit 2 lost 1 yesterday - record stands at 2-2 .   Let's see if we can get it today - let's look at some numbers:

        Char      55

-4.5      Mia    21   

Mia opens up as a 4.5 fav currently 5.5  .  I give char a rating of 55 and Mia 21, in this situation the data indicates the home team should take it.  only play tonite

1.  Miami  -5  (-115)

We are on the positive side after hitting Miami lastnight - record is 3-2 .     Let's look at some numbers:

                 NO   41  

-12.5   Denver   14   

Denver opened at -12.5 currently the same .    NO has a rating of 41 and Denver 14 in this situation - history tells us Denver should cover this.   

My only Play:

1. Denver -12.5

     Milw       28     

GS opened as a 3 pt fav - currently the same.     Gs has a rating of 14 and Milw 28 - often the lower the number the better the team.   However, from a betting stand point, comparing the opening line and these ratings - my data indicates - take Milw - they can poss win this straight up but  I'm taking the points .  

My Play:  

1.  Milw  +3

 Worked out for us.    When a star goes out - it's tricky to figure out what the replacement player/team can and will do.  There's actually a term for it - it's called sensitivity analysis - whether it's the factory floor or a basketball team - how will the replacement and team/workers perform.  Many times the player steps up and the team over all does.    Line jumped to 7.5 but they still came thru - covered and won su even without Giannis.    Doesn't always work out like that.     

Record stands at 5-2 .    Let's look at some numbers:

         Utah       56 

-4.5  Phoenix   43   

Phoenix opened up as a 4.5 fav currently -3.   In this situation, with these rankings, even though on paper Phoenix appears to be the better team I think Utah covers and has a good chance of taking it straight up.    

My plays:

1.  Utah +3
