Is this safe like a stock investment lol? ![]()
No side of an NBA basketball game is that safe of an investment. I feel like the very cringey nature of this thread is already jinxing my team. Please, I beg you, don't wager on Warriors.
p.s.
@davemsh is playing you. Don't listen to him.

Based on all the replies given so far (and thank you for that) - it seems to be the smartest thing to do would be to wait for half time and then decide if it's worth placing a ML bet or not ... because most of you don't predict a halftime blowout by GSW.

You can get it down to -4.5 right now at some places for -145
So if they win by 5 you're good
11 postseason wins so far for GSW. Only 2 were by less than 5. So if you are sold they are going to win, and are considering taking a little juice in the first place (which you clearly are by asking people to chime in about the ML) then this may be a better option for you.
If they win it isn't super likely that this is a 1/2/3/4 point game. Not with the amount of 3s these teams make and miss. Anything can happen obviously, but from a value standpoint, if my side was the Warriors, and my best options were -7 @ -110, -4.5 @ -145, or ML @ -300.........I would gamble on the -4.5.

I know, right? Who's pitching?
You'd have to be insane to lay -300 on an NBA basketball game.

People are scared in here, but it’s a pretty safe bet. Very hard to see Golden State lose this game, recency bias has people forgetting they are a MUCH better team.

Diehard Warriors fan. The Warriors are not the much better team. They are better but let us not forget Dallas had large leads in 3 of 4 games. Dallas lives and dies by the three ball, much like earlier iterations of the Warriors. When they are going in, the role players gain confidence, and they are tough to beat.

I've been a Warriors since I was three. I was trying not to jinx it.
