Fish's Slippery Player Picks - 11/4 (YTD: 19-5)

Evening everyone. Have enjoyed a couple of days' absence with a long weekend down here in Aus following a nervous 1-1 Saturday night, but back fit and firing today. Just the one to start with but will have a closer look at the later games in a couple of hours.

Orlando Magic @ Atlanta Hawks - Goga Bitadze over 4.5 points

Hopefully you can all find another obscure bench player line - I'm not sure which bookies you all have the pick of but in Aus we have plenty to choose from and Bet365 has Bitadze's points line at a very low 4.5 for the Magic. The Georgian big man looks set to play a similar role this season to what he did last with the Magic, when he averaged 7.2 points in around 20 minutes per game - very similar to what he is averaging so far this season. He's also surpassed this number in four consecutive games, averaging right on double it at 9 points per game in that time. Hoping for Goga Bitadze to score 5 points might not be how you'd planned to spend your Tuesday night but if you can locate this line, it's too low.

As mentioned I'll have a closer look at later games later on, but the lines do appear to be tightening up a little as they invariably do as the season gets going so I'm trying to only stick to those I feel very confident on.

Thunder @ Clippers - Isaiah Hartenstein over 11 rebounds + assists

Ive got this at 10.5 with juice or 11.5 plus money depending on the bookie - I’ve taken the 10.5 but will set it at 11 here. I’d take either though. Hartenstein has been crashing the boards so far this season and dishing out plenty of dimes too, and while Holmgren’s return will diminish his role somewhat, he was still passing it generally easily with Chet in the lineup. Given he averaged close to this number in rebounds alone last season, and his recent form, this looks too low a line. 

Over 12.5 is juiced to -182…..

12.5 I reckon he’ll still get but getting a bit less confident. I had $2.10 for 11.5 or $1.78 for 10.5 with Bet365. Another of my bookies only had $1.90 for 11.5. Matter of shopping around but not sure if you guys have as much choice as I do in Aus.
