Not down playing the spurs at all fellas but they did do this last year and got bounced in the first round. I will say they are way deeper this year and healthier so they have a shot but I dont think they are as much of a lock as some people make it sound.
While they do have one of the best 2 offenses in the league they lack in interior defense and rebounding. In my eyes they would have to stay on fire like Dallas did through the enire playoffs last year shooting to take the title!

No question the Spurs are playing very, very well, far better than they were playing last season.
They are probally playing a bit over their heads and not as good as they look which is general the case when teams go through periods of hottness as the Spurs are doing now.
Manu is playing way over his head since his return and not likely to continue at such a pace, a regression to the mean is likely going to happen at some point.
To say the Spurs could handily take the west is not true, OKC is playing on a very high level and could beat the Spurs without a doubt, the Spurs would have no better than a 50% chance to win that series.
And before you talk about hot teams coming into the playoffs better do some research, they are not all that, just ask the Bulls last season who were the hottest team to enter the playoffs since 1984 and with many here on the site jumping on their bandwagon because of it they damn near lost in the 1st round and played poorly agian in the 2cd round.

If you've watched San Antonio play OKC this year and last year you would know that San Antonio owns OKC. They are 2 & 0 vs OKC this year and blew them out the first game and the second game were up by 20 going in the 4th and let OKC back in game before finishing them off. I have no doubt they can beat OKC because they match up really well with them, i'm honestly more nervous about playing Memphis again as i feel they are only team the spurs don't match up well against. Spurs are great at home and i don't think Miami or the Bulls are strong enough to win a title. Spurs at +550 is a great value and i feel barring injury with the best coach in the NBA they should be able to win another championship
