Bulls and Why

We had a good night last night - let's see if we can get it today.   Let's look at some numbers:   

      Chic    25

3.5  LaL    37   

Line opened at 3.5 (madduxsports.com) currently the same or may be -3 at some books.    Lakers have a rating of 37 and the Bulls 25 (lower the better).  Once again just because a rating is higher or lower is not what determines who you go with.   You need to look at history, thus I compare the opening line of 3.5 to ratiings like this or close to it.    In this case my numbers are saying take the Bulls and wouldn't be surprised if they took it straight up.   My Plays:

1. Chic +3.5  

2. Teaser 4 pt -   Brook  +5  to Minnie +10.5   pays +1.02 .     I use teasers when my data tells me it could be a close situation or the line has dropped from the opening significantly.   I hate paying the juice to buy points.   I think both of these teams can cover, however, the Brook gm opened at 1.5 then jumped to 2.5  but now it's 1.  I liked Minnie +7 but it went to 6.5 - I think the teaser gives us + money vice a lot of juice.

 If the line has jumped and it has to do with Lebron possibly coming back ….. it could.   Sometimes when players come back and it’s their first game back, it doesn’t always go as planned.  Then again a guy like Lebron could push them.   I bet it at 3.5.   Not changing anything now.  Bol in what you decide - great question.

The nba can be tough to handicap with players out or in etc.   A website I use for a good read on changes or just a pre game summary is legacydonbest.com  click nba then matchups then preview   It takes a second for it to pop up great write ups.   They did indicate Lebron was not returning but still good info.

 I wouldn’t look at it like a Cancer.   You’re right about the chemistry and also first game back it often takes a game or two to get the rhythm back.   You see it all the time.   Baseball a great pitcher comes back from injury….
