Totally agree with you on Blaney. He's been underrated his whole career. IMO he could be a top 10 threat in the Nationwide series and a top 5 threat in the Trucks.

if i was an owner and starting a team with what's left i'd take, mike wallace, i think he could keep me in the top 35, not sure my sponsors would want his personality, but at least we'd make the show

If talking just on the Cup side.....I would say Ron Hornaday and Jason Keller. Neither one has ever been given a good opportunity.
In 2001 (I think) was the only year Hornaday had a full-time ride driving for AJ Foyt's second rate team. Keller has had only 2 Cup starts both fill-in roles and may never get a chance with him being 40-ish as the trend has been to younger drivers.
Hornaday is even older but that son-of-a-bitch can still drive as good as anyone.
