The Company Men on Showtime

The Company Men (2010) is an EXCELLENT drama about the personal cost to employees from companies downsizing. VERY well acted by all envolved and esp Ben Affleck, Chris Cooper and Tommy Lee Jones. one warning: IF you have recently lost your job or had a friend or family member that lost theirs to downsizing or outsourcing, it can be pretty depressing. shows the absolute FEAR that grips esp long term older emplyees when a company is cutting back. sure made me feel grateful that I'm retired and out of "the rat race"

it's on the Showtime channels starting Friday and runs all next week. definately worth watching. I say it's   

I don't know about you BUT I was hoping someone would shoot the Craig T. Nelson character James Salinger, the one -way mother fucker CEO, in the head at the end of the movie.

Kevin Costner's  character Jack Dolan is like most of the non-retirees in my neighborhood. tradesmen running their own business and somewhat struggling here in the current Las Vegas economy.

I know. one reason I decided to start a seperate thread about it. figured IF a knowledgeable movie guy like yourself liked it, it was worth doing
