Ws Gm3 Pick and Why

Record is 1-1.   Was hoping Yamamoto would have gotten some relief to hopefully let the BJays score a few and get us the over but NO.   Let's look at tonights game:

        Tor   Scherzer:    199   

-185  LA    Glasnow:   83     

LAD opened up at -185  currently 192  (madduxsports.com)   .     Scherzer has a rating of 199 - thru the regular season and has 1 start and one win in the Playoffs against the yanks 11 days ago. 

Glasnow has a rating of 83 during the regular season and has had more strikeouts than I.pitched.   He has pitched 3 times in the playoffs the last 2 games as a starter and had No decisions in both those games giving up 0 runs against Philly  and 1 run against Milw. 

Let's look at some angles on this game:

1.    What happens when the opening line for the home team is 185  - since 2009 we have had that situation 12 times - 8 times the home team took it; however, 4 times the away team won it outright and 2 times they covered the run line.   

2. Scherzer has not starting in the last 11 days does-will that affect him - not sure - we have seen stellar with Yamamoto on 11 days rest and we saw what happened with Snell.   Throw in No decisions by Glasnow in has last two playoff starts - sometimes that can frustrate a pitcher.    

3.   Looking at the opening line of 185 and the ratings - the data I collect is limited but points in the direction of away team can keep it close.
