You could say that for most sports. Who saw St Peters making it to the sweet 16? Bengals making the super bowl? Jags beating the Bills? Few years ago, Astros were approximately -400 or so to beat the Tigers. Guess who won? Point is, the end of the day these are pro teams. Any given day an underdog can win. I will say...when it comes to MLB and how volatile it can be, taking huge favorites is not smart in the long run
