Dodgers destroy them tonight

This is exactly why most people lose their bets. They always use their heart instead of their head. Everyone loves to hammer the most obvious pick and tonight that’s the Dodgers.

I get it, L.A. looked great in their last game and on paper they’re the safe choice. But safe doesn’t win in this game. Value does. When the line looks too easy that’s usually your cue to look the other way.

After digging through the matchup and seeing how the market is leaning, I'm rolling with the less obvious side tonight.

For me? I can't trust Mad Max at this point and will wait for another betting entry into this series.

Do I want the Jays to win the World Series? Sure I do, but I wouldn't bet on it. Everyone seems to be on the Dodgers to go back to back and we usually see how that trainwreck happens when everyone is on one side of the bet.

 Looking at playoff results, it seems like a person would either bet the jays -1.5, or the Dodgers -1.5  

7 of 8 Jays wins have been by multiple runs.  All 5 of their losses have been by multiple runs.  Seems like they're either loose, and swinging well, or tight and getting shutdown.  There doesn't seem to be anything in the middle.

There's certainly a lot of value taking the Jays tonight, but they have absolutely no shot at winning this particular matchup.  This ain't the Mariners, it's the Dodgers playing their first WS game at home, and they are absolutely going to light this old relic up, such to the extent, that he will never pitch in the majors again, nor should he.
