although 5 times has the NLCS been swept and ALCS gone 7. All 5 times the American League won. 

Freeman has played 11 WS games, a hit in all 11. HR in 5 of L6.

Cali teams are just 2-5 in a playoff series vs a team from Toronto . And gramps says the great one ( Canadian boy ) who once lived in Toronto ( how ironic ) got some MJ type help from the refs late in a series vs the leafs or the Cali boys could easily be 1-6. Interesting history

A monster A's team murdered SF in the 1989 WS (outscored them 32-14), then got swept with basically the same team in 1990 against an unfancied Reds opponent. Repeating WS wins is not easy. LA's lead-in preparation couldn't have been worse in not being tested 1 iota in the NLCS, while Toronto had to climb a summit after going down 0-2 at home. Tried & tested beats undercooked 24/7/365. LA has to win g2 otherwise this is done.
