To be honest, taking -1.5 is not smart in playoff baseball.

If you had choose between those, I'd go with A's +1.5

Favotites in the -150 to -300 range lose all the time in baseball.  This is playoff baseball, where even the big dog is a good team. The value is with the live dog imo. 

I totally agree and the public will be all over the Yanks my book now has Yanks as -186 but for me I see A's have defense as their only advantage and I believe "bullpenning" is not going to work in the playoffs.
