Looking at going mid Feb...looked at rooms during Presidents day week (15-18), but flights are $400 and saw rooms for MGM for $35 a night during the week? Otherwise Flamigo for around $70 a night. The week before that (8-11) flights were around $300 and the rooms were slightly cheaper.
Last summer we went Thurs-Monday and had free rooms from someone we know in Vegas...this year a buddy of mine lives and makes a living gambling out there so he was gonna check and see if he had any comps for rooms.
I have a $300 flight voucher from my last Vegas trip, so that will help. I'd like to stay 4 nights and would be willing to go during the week. I'm checking all the sites for deals, just wondering if anyone has any connections or good deals or ideas.

I fly out of Minneapolis and we have gone three time in the last 14 months. I found Expedia offers the best packages. I typed in your dates and it would be $410 for round trip air and three nights at the MGM. I always go Sunday through Thursday and it would only be an extra $31 to go 2-14 through 2-18 at the MGM. Hope you have fun. I am going back in April. Probably The Monte Carlo if we stay on the strip or The Nugget if we stay downtown.

Book it fast if you see the deal you want. The dates we wanted in April went up $60 from last week. So we are waiting it out now. But Expedia.com is consistently $50 or even better than Travelocity or Vegas.com. Very easy to book travel on this site as well plus they send you coupons every couple months which is why we are going again.

Do you go to many clubs when your in vegas or do you mainly just gamble? If so what type of budget are you planning for your trip?
Been there once before, did the club scene one night. I had a good time with our group. But this time is just me and another buddy. He's not much for clubs, and I don't really like flying solo.
So my guess is we'll go our separate ways...he'll play slots, i'll play poker, and blackjack. Budget...last time it ended up being like 2k for gambling and flight. Rooms were comped from a friend before we got there. So I'd say around 2k? Last time I went I lost most of it in the first few hours...this time I'll ease into it and enjoy the first day.

Rocky- We have flight vouchers...so not sure those package deals would work? We did see MGM for pretty cheap, we got email offers recently.
Looks like we'd leave the 7th...morning of the Super Bowl! And stay till Thursday. I'd like to stay close to the Bellagio...heard the Flamigo had some cheaper rates.

I know you can get a room at the palms for around $50. You will be off the strip but The palms is still a great place to stay and just take a taxi if you want to go elsewhere.

Arrive early Sunday the 15th around 1am and just going to roam around till we can checkin. (thought it'd be a cool way to start the trip) Maybe find some sweethearts that haven't been struck by cupids arrow from the day before
Fly back Thursday afternoon. Still not sure where we'll be staying...TI has rooms for 59,59,39,39 a night while we're there. A friend of mine is also trying to get us a free rooms at the Bellagio during the week.
