Figured you all would have a take on this since horse guys always have some kind of opinion. Have the TC races become less interesting to you than the Breeders? To the casual fans I dont think so but was curious.
I still watch the TC BUT look forward to the BC. I love the sport and love wagering but The Derby is such a stampede you usually don't get to see the race set up as you normally would. The Preakness is the Preakness and the Belmont is such a soul crushing distance after the first 2 that it obviously lacks the interest if there isn't a shot at the Crown.

Triple Crown for me. We talk about the BC for the weeks leading up to it. We talk about the TC for months leading up to it. Undercards on these days are always filled with BC contenders anyway.

If you really love the sport you will get more excited watching different races.
Unless you are a racing purist. But even a racing purist appreciates and understands [ for lack of a better word] the hype involved.
I understand it is strictly business to some and thats fine.
Anyway, I would agree with Bull. Only to add that in regard to making money, the bottom line, the Breeders Cup gives you better oppourtunity given the number of races and the average payouts.
These aren't, contrary to some on this board would have you believe, just another race.
