Worst Single Day Loss??

What's going on Covers Fam. Would love to hear some insight and feedback from others regarding this question. As for myself, I suffered my worst single day loss Saturday night after 13 years of betting. ($1,300 on two ingame plays in NBA). Sometimes it's not about what we know, but implementing what we know and staying discliplined in your approach. I went against the age old adage of there are no such thing as GUARENTEED LOCKS and never CHASE a big loss. Well, needless to say I figued Celtics was a lock to beat Bulls in game via ML. They may not cover but they surely will win. Wrong I was. Frustrated, doubled down on Warriors in game to beat Rockets. No way they will lose to Rockets at home who are missing their star player in Harden...wrong again. Nonetheless, I would love to also hear how you guy's bounced back and mentally regrouped after a huge loss?

Sadly, I've posted this one before. March Madness staying in Reno (living in N. California at the time), bet 9 NCAA games, and 3 NBA games. LOST THEM ALL. I mean, that is practically statistically impossible! F!

Good read. Yes, the emotional aspect of gambling and betting is what makes us dig a deeper hole for ourselves at times. The more money you seem to have, the more risks you take that are contrary to what enabled you to build the bankroll up in the first place, which was by being consistent and staying within a certain betting range. I myself got cocky and overconfident and felt like my "locks" could not lose. The betting god knocked me off my high horse and humbled me. Expensive lesson learned. But I'm in this for the long haul and will gradually build the bankroll back up, through discipline and consistency. No more than 3-5% of my betting capital on a game. And as always happen, right after that loss I went on a nice little 9-2 run in NBA, if I only would have left Saturday night alone instead of going for the home run I would have been sitting swell...

GG, you and Search are a couple of the few bright spots on this site. (Lord knows i'm not) Maybe it doesn't mean much to some, being this is a website, but we are a community. And you guys have my support, my well wishes and prayers. I'm sorry for your loss but you're right. 92 and 94 are some crazy runs respectively.

Worst losing day is probably about 4 grand. Though I have lost 11 bets in a row twice in my life. Hard to believe you can go that cold 

Worst lost was 2012? CL Zenit (-500) vs. Austria Wien. Zenit got a quick red card in the 1H, and ended 0-0. 15K to win 3K --- watching Zenit pepper shots on goal all on a flippin' red card and it ending 0-0.. made me want to off myself. I was watching it with a couple spanish and russian kids at the LVH at about 7am. If they had won that match, we all would have become best friends.. instead, the whistle blew at 90' and we ripped out tickets in disgust and went our separate ways.

I lost my thought after reading Search and Goose loss's  Godspeed fellas.

All honesty think I've seen enough of this world. I'm completely lucid, totally aware and wanting peace.. the uphill fight has been terribly exhausting. Now there's just nobody left. 

My belated condolences to search and goose, sorry for your losses. Makes monetary losses we experience in this game seem miniscule in comparison to losing loved ones. 

Sucked ...I remember going to a pizzeria and eating an entire large pie , slept in my car ....
