My friend passed away this weekend.

He was one of the biggest mensches anyone could ever have the pleasure to know and befriend.

Sportgrid was a great time for Dave, it allowed him to reach a lot of new viewers and his lifetime of gambling and sports betting stories were well worth the listen. It also provided him an outlet to wear his entire sports jersey and hat collection on a daily, if not hourly basis. The guy was a pure mensch in every sense of the word.

I saw Vanzack also posted on X in memory of him.

Dave (The Book) was part of a duo team called The Bostonian vs The Book.

His partner is Matt Perrault (The Bostonian).

They launched this uniquely entertaining and humble podcast almost years ago. I helped support their live chat from the beginning and was their tennis data, stats and content provider.
