Can AI make predictions?

As someone who uses AI for automated tasks and everyday activities like spell check and other functions, I recently came across DexWin a Web3 sportsbook that integrates AI into its platform to assist with predictions. I placed a few bets based on the AI's analysis, and surprisingly, it checked out. Are we going to see more sportsbooks integrating AI to aid sports betting?

I asked GPT to give me its favorite pick one day during March Madness. It lost. LOL. 

AI is trash at picking winners. But good at building models. If you are extremely patient.

would have loved to see it use statfox.

I wrote my own in college that was built using a genetic algorithm I wrote. It performed well.

AI helps collect data on teams past performance, but I don’t think it should be used alone to predict game outcomes. I tried it recently, and the results weren’t satisfying. However, I believe preseason matches are generally unpredictable, so I can’t entirely blame the AI.

AI may be the direction of sports guesstimating but human error will always find a way to derail the AI train.

   I would take AI over those Losing Fools we see all the time at Winners In Hartford.

I use Grok and ChatGPT. Whichever they have on common. Bet on it.
