You guys think its worth it to lay -700 on NO?  I am thinking of laying 2800 to win 400 on this... Any insight be appreciated.

Go for it!  It's a solid play.  It's a lot of money to have tied up for a month though.

No bro, no way a new team wins this world cup. 
Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Spain are way to strong and to that list add Uruguay.

Who do you think has a chance to win this world cup for the first time?
Holland, Belgium, Chile, Colombia, Ghana, Usa??

No way, just my opinion.

Thanks guys I agree... But I am far an soccer guru but do find it a solid bet... We also got italy and France on that list too so it feels pretty good...

During the 1st game of every team try to bet the unders.. 
Teams just dont want to lose so the play defensively. 

You have to understand that this is the most played and watch sport in the world.. Some players are going to be worried about not messing up for the first game.

Ya that's what I read, I believe reading Van's thread he said under was like 12-4 or someting crazy the last time out in 2010... Hey if you are doing that, I would say B365 is awesome as they have every game at 2.5's... although with juice...

I initially took over for this game, now wondering if I should buy out...

Anyone input on this would b great:

I took:

Brazil to win cup at +300 for 1500
Arg to win cup at +500 for 500
Italy to win cup at 22x for 200
and Portugal to win cup at 27x for 200

I also took France and Italy to advance to QF... Both around pick for $500. 

For a average soccer fan, that is a lot of money I know but I really feel I did enough research this time to have a good run at this.


Hopefully things will go my way.  Good luck to everyone today and the rest of the tournament.

For this game this is what I think is going to happen. 
We will see Brazil take control of the game, Croatia will play defense all game long and try to steal a point from Brazil. 
Even if Brazil scores, I still see Croatia playing for Brazil not to score again. 

In this type of group losing to Brazil 1-0 is not bad because the other 2 teams can lose by more.
