They are better than Miami and Utah and should be ranked accordingly.

Yea when your qb is 40 suing to stay in college to play and dominate you shouldn’t lose any game in my opinion

So if they have every right then who is your playoff 8 sec teams?

I’ve been rooting for them all year… yes I believe they should get in… can they beat Ohio st or Indiana… I don’t think so… I think they get beat by 20 to one of those…but they have very good athletes now… at most positions…. Went toe to toe with bama at bama… and made tremendous rebound at Texas after falling way behind..  an excellent team in my opinion… I’m 60 years old now… and I enjoy seeing vandy and Georgia tech relevant in football.   I think it’s great.  I also think the big ten championship are the 2 best teams in the country…  if I’m not mistaken… wasn’t there a scenario few years back when Georgia and bama we’re in a similar situation… and the way I saw it… Georgia let bama win the sec championship game… so another sec team would be in playoffs… then Georgia beat em down in championship game…  well that’s my 2 cents.  Yes. Pavia is a dandy… but they have a very good team…. Go commodores. 

They should take notre dames spot 

we all know how this works, remember the conference championships are a curse to the loser and those teams tumble. these conference championships sound good but they are a thing of the past and need to be done away with when it comes to this playoff system especially if you're ranked around the 9-12 spot and lose conference championship game. vandy could sneak in the playoffs if certain teams lose in their cc game

i think they are deserving of being in. there are several teams who can make a pretty good case for being in. as far as the impact on the actual national championship race, i don't really think it matters. none of the bubble teams are capable of making a championship run imo. kind of like the march madness tourney...always goona be controversy. i would enjoy seeing them get in tho. would be a cool story.

They should bump Miami 

Tennessee had no business being ranked. You decide whether their best victory was against MSU or idk Kentucky. They were ranked to give the better SEC teams a more favorable resume.

The amount of crazy theories online regarding CFP selections has been entertaining.

Anyone see the one about how Miami and Vandy should have a play-in game in Hawaii. Something about a loophole that allows teams that play in Hawaii. Technically the NCAA permits a 13th regular season game allowed to be played only if the game is played in Hawaii and Hawaii is not playing in the game. Called the Hawaii exemption rule.

17.9.5.2 Annual Exemptions. [FBS/FCS]
The maximum number of football contests shall exclude the following:

(k) Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico. [FBS/FCS]
Any football games played in Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico, respectively, either against or under the sponsorship of an active member institution located in Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico, by a Division I member institution located outside the area in question.

Both of these squads should have done this. I don't care if they played it at the regular 11:59PM (EST) like the majority of Hawaiian games are played. We all would have watched.
