Evaluation
tough back door push with ULM/Texas, I know I had the right side there and what happened is very unlikely, I made a bad call on Minnesota and just gave their squad too much credit, that Golden Gopher bunch is not a good football team, live and learn, still kind of laughing at the Ole Miss game because I actually had to watch it and pay attention
What I take away from this week
- Ohio St. is slow on both sides of the ball
- LSU was outplayed by a Huskie team that was 0-12 last year, the Tigers just aren't that good defensively
- Jevan Snead is vastly overrated and not close to McCoy, which is why he couldn't win the job @ Texas in the first place, he may be solid but he isn't special
- Minnesota will not be a good football team all season, Weber sucks
- Utep is garbage again this year and should be nice fade material against teams with a decent defense
- Turner Gill can just coach, he is winning with Buffalo
- Kevin Riley will have to improve vastly for Cal to go a long way even though they have an awesome backfield, Jahvid Best might be able to outrun my car
- UCLA's QB play still sucks
- New Mexico and New Mexico St are both laughable and should be good fade material until the lines are inflated
- Tulane is terrible again
- Miami Oh is terrible again
- the Texas defense will need serious improvement if they want to play against a team like Florida
- Florida is easily the best team in college football
- Blount can throw a punch
- I'm glad to have some college football back
- my bookie is NOT glad college football is back
