What's up FAMILY  Missed all of you last season !!!

BEST of HEALTH,BLESSINGS , & LUCK to ALL COVERS BROTHERS AND SISTERS...

Last year I I solely focused on MAC football and it paid off handsomely ( Monster BALL ST futures $$$ and solid MAC weekly bets) ...Avoiding the rest of CFB likely played a major hand in my NFL success as well ...

Fast forward to the summer of 2021 , I strongly believe oddsmakers are far behind on MAC FOOTBALL ..There appears to be some tremendous value on conference, division  and season wins futures ....I'll do my best to breakdown each school over the next 2 months in this thread ...

Please remember to NOT destroy your TV or flip out when watching your MAC bets play out ...The Play calling can drive you insane . Sometimes you'll have a big lead running for 13+ yards per carry and all of a sudden the coach will call 13 passes in a row . Resulting in 2 INTS and Multiple 3 and outs ...On the flip side your defense will have major success stacking the box and blitzing all game,  until they go full prevent with a slim  1 score lead in the 3rd quarter , possibly  going on to lose by  17 ...  EXCEPT WACKY BS !!!

WOOOO-HOOOO!!! can't wait Double! .. Haven't peeped the MAC yet tooo much I hit Toledo 3.5-1 for the conference for a few bucks and +19.5 vs ND goy .. fun bucks .. Seems like Kent could go in the portal today and pull out a much better D than what they've been living with, def interested in hearing if there's any chance for improvement w them.. wouldn't take take too much but if not the flashes could get overpriced in a hurry .. I like everything Mcelwain's doing w the Chips, maybe new QB gets em to the next level? .. Thinking Ohio as a pk vs Cuse .. happy to take good coaching vs Awful but will wait to hear what MAC-Daddy-Double got to say 'bout them BOBs .. Good luck this year buddy!

Sup Chattar yeah we'll see if WKY is up to the challenge the prob is the odds got squashed down from 16-1 to 7-1 and .. meh ... not quite as sexy .. Steele pretty much sized them up the same way I had, hopefully a nice turnaround but there's alot of 'coming together' that needs to happen and if Zappe is throwin picks or just not clickin right away or can't get the run game working etc... lotta ways for them to not win the conference .. def still like the over 5.5 RSW and hit +14.5 vs MSU, +21.5 vs Indy .. impossible to be worse than LY and still won a few .. big obstacle is UAB, thought they were gunna have more turnover in the offseason but holy smokes its the 3rd year of all these guys playin together .. surprised they didn't try to grab any new QB seems like the only thing holding them back last year was a little more pep in the offense .. scary lookin team again ...

For someone who hasn't prepped much for the MAC yet ,you've hit some critical nails on the head ...Toledo might be a deserving front runner ....KENT ST is loaded with value , they were an insta bet for me at +1400 to win the MAC for 2.5 units ($500 to win $7000)  ...Offense should be the highest scoring in the conference,  and they did a Fantastic job on paper with their Transfers ..The Defense can only be better , right ??? LOVE that they avoid MAC WEST Chalks TOLEDO and BALL ST on the schedule....( They'll be my first write up ) ...My only concern is we might get more Value on the Golden Flashes MAC ODDS after they play 3 seemingly brutal OOC games vs TEXAS A&M , Iowa and Maryland ..

KENT ST is not my top bet for the MAC at the current prices but they're right there fighting for what should be a 4 headed race in the EAST ..

I'll get to the CHIPPS asap.

Regardless of what happens great job finding WKU early at valuable odds...At +1600 I'd probably insta tail , but at current +700 it's a pass ...I'll take a peak at their season wins over though...Definitely get back to you in your thread on them

We got lucky last year on Ball St ..After they lost that first game they could've easily closed  up shop ( Small sample size in the MAC LY) ....Their defense did a great job of making timely stops after that ...That championship was bitter sweet , as my hometown BUFFALO BULLS LOST ANOTHER  CHAMPIONSHIP ...

Our BROTHER BRIDGE is a FANTASTIC CAPPER...I'm late to the party at the current +700 on WKU , at +1600 it definitely would have been worth a few coins ...I'll have to do some light CUSA capping eventually though ..For Now I'm sticking to the MAC , and their regular season OOC opponents ...

Daang seein Kent 10-1 now .. seems like the kinda team i should be able to shop around on but not many puttin up those MAC conf odds lol .. all the big teams look like they got their act together so doubt we get the miami ohio party crasher .. woulda been really wild to see any of the last few year's buff teams in the mix this yr .. King Leipold off to build his next empire took some horses w him .. tough to count anyone out in the mac but books tryin to rob people puttin them as favs as recent as a week ago... finally moved ... to 5-1 .. maybe they make us a real offer before the ssn starts but i doubt it .. 

cusa might have a few long shots worth looking at .. fau 9-1 .. looked at s.miss today 18-1 im sire theres better odds out there .. 25-1 might be worth it .. lotta 'if this happens' w them .. 

Houston 12-1 might be worth a look.. get smu and memp at home, dodge ucf and cincy.. good shot at champ game after covid probs ripped em LY .. cincy good but not invincible coulda lost to ucf and tulsa and lost a few big time studs, have others but not an unlimited supply, dont think theyll live up to Phil's massive #10 ranking .. also like SMU but conf schedule is really rugged .. Ponies maybe find some renewed ATS value after draining wallets last year ..

Yes Brother..  Either it's a coincidence or they dont have much action on MAC Futures...The day after I bet Kent St at +1400 for $500 it dropped to +1000...Now a day after betting KENT ST over 5 -113 for $300 ( was maced at $500 through local) , SENECA  moved the line to OVER 5.5 +100 .... Wonder if they'll move Miami Ohio soon as well

This should be a tight 4 headed race , with the 2 bottom feeders light years behind . ..Do NOT see any value in the mega chalks  UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO (+317) and OHIO ( +647)  to win the Conference ... KENT ST (+1204) and MIAMI OHIO ( +3300) are every bit as good if not better , offering much more value at these Prices ...Strongly believe oddsmakers are way off on the MAC EAST .

Akron had to be banking on the old 'if we play all our freshman in '19 we should have much more experience than everyone by '21 right?' ... covid's cruelest joke is on them since everyone comes back this year .. ceiling projection maybe 3 wins .. eek .. BG keeps digging a hole to china looking for a win .. liked Andrew Clair for a few years but oft injured and off to NU now .. can't imagine either team struck gold in the portal unless kid was desperate to get lock of the century playing time .. even then its gotta be a tough sell .. 

KENT ST 

Offense put up video game numbers last year 49.8 PPG and ( 612  yards of total offense / 7.6 YPP )  Sure they only played 4 games , but a ton of talent returns and they add a solid WR from the transfer portal .

QB DUSTIN CRUM is back after completing 73.5% of his passes , 12 TDS and only 2 INTS.. 10.5 Yards per attempt ...Also ran for 4 TDS on 44 Carries  for 240 yards ...

Should Crum miss any time the offense might keep humming with Sft. Collin Schlee at the helm.. 7-13 113 PY 2 TDS , 12 Carries 85 yards 1 TD ..

RB.  Crum gets all the hype but the 3 headed RB show helped KENT ST run for 289 yards per game ...2 lightning  options iin pint sized Marquez Cooper (56-282 5 tds ) and Xavier Williams  ( 27-218  8 ypc )  Meanwhile Bryan Bradford is thunder at 243 lbs (37-254  6.9 ypc ) 

WR. Top Target Issiah McKoy is gone , but everyone else is back Ja'Shaun Poke 21-326 ,, Isaac Vance 17-148 , Dante Cephas 11-136 , Issiah Wooden only 4 catches but 23.5 YPR..  Huge Boost adding Syracuse transfer Nykeim Johnson who had 88 receptions for the Orange ...

OL.   ALL 5 STARTERS RETURN , including ALL MAC OT Bill Kuduk ..

DEFENSE.  

What was a major concern last year ,can only be better,  right??? Doubt they'll give up 38.0 PPG again , but I'm not holding my breath ..Not shocked that UB ran for 515 and 10 tds , but lowly Akron and BG ran for 427 and 8 scores ..

While only time will tell 8 of the 9 top tacklers return they might get pushed around with a lack off beef up front...The pass rush was decent, the run defense is clearly the main concern .

The secondary is deep and adds Maryland  transfer S Antwaine Richardson ...

AT IOWA    +14.5.  Not the worst spot with the Hawkeyes coming off rivalry game at Iowa st ..

AT MARYLAND. Toss up ?   Hoping for an inflated number... Catching The TERPS in between 2 PRIME TIME BIG 10 GAMES

BUFFALO  toss up.  Monster revenge game after the BULLS put up 70 points ly...Bulls have plenty of questions with the previous regime off in Kansas , taking plenty of talent with them .

AT WMU.   +4.  Could be a toss up but this seems like a tough spot 

AT OHIO.  Toss up.  imo the Bobcats might be the most overrated school in the MAC .

Ohio might be a division leader ( but i doubt  it )  , tough to get a great read on them from last year as they only played 3 games ..Especially with Akron and BG being 2 of those games ...The top 4 could finish in any order IMO ...That being said if I was an Ohio backer I'd want at least double their current odds ... Do you like them vs the CUSE week 1 ???

Feels like Akron has been going with let the FR. play forever..lol ...Thinking they'll be more competitive this year ..Not sure that translates into more than 2 or 3 wins though...

Bowling Green should be relegated ...Just kidding  , I've just had problems with their fans at multiple football and basketball games over the years...Clair was decent , but like you mentioned the injuries hampered his production ...Wonder if he'll get PT in his new spot ?? 

Overall I thought the MAC did fairly well in the transfer portal ...Those national tv weekday  primetime games must help a little ...

No idea what to do w Ohio / Cuse wk 1 i was hoping you'd read ohio as bomb-tastic this year and maybe grab'em for a few speculation bucks .. agree we don't know what's coming back and didn't exactly blow the doors off akron .. out-yarded by 130!!!! .. +3 TO's / maybe ST play must be skewing that tho .. 

I'll give you my read on Cuse and it's don't go blind fadin' these guys ..  we might even find some value w them as a dog in quite a few .. They got rammed in the pooper every which way LY, lotta opt outs pre-ssn, MASSIVE depth issues all over the place QB/OL/DL/RB hit real bad .. covid pauses on top of the NY restrictions, player mutiny concerns ... the new OC and a new DC doin the 3-3-5 instal .. Devito terrible but then injury and Rex was REALLY terrible.. Cisco best DB injury ... like all 10 nightmare on elm streets rolled into one lol .. books were hip to it Orange wins 1 game but go 6-5 ATS = had'em priced right .. Pretty much all those issues either not applicable this year / others get addressed in some way ... land Schraeder at QB .. Adams / Howard back at RB and Tucker did great for them LY considering the OL had to convert that TE to play guard .. Harris at WR is legit good and he's back .. Secondary was really not bad at all .. can't say what the OL/DL will bring this year but it cant possibly be close to as bad .. plus a year in the system, 19 back ..

Cuse can be massively better but still not clear the RSW of 3 and still give us a decent value as a dog this year .. that might happen if we see good / improved Ohio and Rutgers teams able to handle business early .. Cuse will have Lib next, not loving the idea of taking cuse there but could reap some value in that one  .. Albany game also clue us in if there's any real major weakness on the team .. if they're 0-3 vs the FBS non-cons but we see they are competitive and no major weakness then would def look to target these guys in ACC play if not earlier vs Liberty .. 

Haha .. i mean true they are in such a bad way but couple years back it was Kent who had fallen off the south pole .. I count 11-54 FBS record from '13 to '18 .. last two ssn's before they turned were 1-10 .. woof ..  BG might be worse idk but the road back is all the same .. get a new coach, a new attitude and luck out finding a QB ...

G5 really needs to relegate itself into its own league / crown its own national champ .. its not like they gotta stop scheduling P5 games just do their own 8 or 12 team playoff .. would be so much more fun than anything the bozo's are scheming up now which will be another sure fire ratings disaster .. nobody interested in seeing the conf champ loser along w BYU or Cincy maybe luck out an win a game before getting throttled in an expanded FBS playoff .. would imagine the average Cincy grad doesn't even give two hoots if their team makes the playoff .. compare that to any distant relative of someone who went to JMU or NDSU lol .. to your point even if G5 got smart w their own playoff BG could prob still be relegated down to FCS .. but that would make room for some really good FCS programs roll up into G5 .. obvi none of their fan bases are currently hoping to 'leap up' from really fun exciting playoff tradition to a shot at the galleryfurniture bowl vs the 3rd place MAC team .. 

MIAMI OHIO REDHAWKS 

WON THE MAC IN 2019

Absolutely shocked at the REDHAWKS current  +3300 odds to win the conference ..Oddsmakers are asleep at the wheel IMO ..I expected to see the top 4  in MAC EAST to all be between +200 and +375 to win the division( Kent st/UB/Miami /Ohio ) ..Planned on taking both Kent St and Miami Ohio at far less odds than what is currently being offered .

2020 season results ( COVID sucked ) ..For what it's worth ( sample size only 3 games ) Miami has 9 starters returning on a  defense that was #1 in the MAC vs the Run ..Don't discount last seasons opening win over eventual MAC champion Ball st ..The following week's loss at UB shoild have been much closer than the 42-10 score ..AJ Mayer had a horrible game at QB going 7-25, (looked scared) ....In rhe Season Finale Brett Gabbert was in at QB and the passing game clicked 18-27  308 4 tds in a 38-7 win over Akron ..Defense Held the ZIPS to ONLY  4 yards on 28 Carries!!! 

8 starters back on offense .

QB Gabbert and Mayer are both back after throwing for 8 TDS and only 1 int  .. It is nice to have pending Futures on schools that have 2 returning qbs who have started games ..Gabbert could have a huge season IMO , or he rides the bench ..lol 

RB.  The leading rusher is gone ( wasnt that effective anyways ) ..In great shape with 2 players coming back after missing last season ..Jaylon Bester ran for 741 and 14 TDS in 2019 , and Tyre Shelton added 587 ..2020 #2 back Kevin Davis is also back. 

WR.  One of the best WRS in the MAC is back Jack Sorenson after 18-354 ..Amazing he put up considering in one of the 3 games the QB play was abysmal in a severely outmatched loss to UB ..Penn st transfer Mac Hippenhammer could have a breakout season after 5-77 in the finale here ..Jalen Walker is 27-467 4 TD in his last 14 games .

..Top 2 TES are back Jack Coldiron should be top 3 in the MAC at his position..

The Offensive line has some beef with the projected starters weighing 312+ lbs ...consistently solid pass blocking the last 2 seasons...All MAC center bounced to Oklahoma st  ( his likely replacement  has been here for 2 seasons already ) ,.LT graduated , but 3 starters are back . RT Caleb Schaffer should contend for all Mac .

Next up the DEFENSE/ST ,SCHEDULE PREDICTIONS , Division win probability %/my odds ..

Disagree about these kids and their families not being excited to go to the gallery furniture bowl or another Bowl ..Many of these athletes and their families will never forget memories made during bowl week.....

I think CFB is in got massive changes with players finally being able to make some money off of their dedication to a program .

OC Albin takes over .. was at Nebraska w coach as a grad asst, whole time together at Ohio .. 21 years workin together so wouldn't expect too much to change .. 

Bobs went to 11 of their 13 bowl games in their entire history under Solich .. made a bowl last 5 years before 2020 .. 3 straight bowl wins ... Interesting while Solich brought them 4 division championships he NEVER WON THE CONFERENCE .. last time BOBs won the MAC was back in '68 .. Not that the conf consideration should change drastically here, its prob already a bit inflated given the points MAC-Daddy-Double makes here but would count on the team dedicating this ssn to their Great Hero General and added bonus recall the QB's brother had such an epic great run under Frank and w the new HC so def a duty on his part to put an exclamation point on this season.. and maybe a storybook ending?.... can only say that man means a whole lot to that program .. 

I would say might want to think twice about gettin in the way of a pretty mammoth "Win one for coach" opening night game in Athens vs CUSE ... Not that gamblers are falling over themselves to bet cuse lol but I mentioned earlier kinda interested in what Cuse might look like this year as likely a BIG DOG again in most games.. that's not the case here.. line moved from Pick to BOBs +1 .. if some morons move the BOB line further for us off this news to say +3 im thinkin it would def be worth a look ..  don't think in any possible way this would negatively impact that game and maybe quite the opposite  .. - good luck!
