Well, again ahem….take a look at the topic ![]()
The Teams listed I’ll be backing in selective spots
some teams can close and know how to handle business. Georgia today was a great example. These Teams are second half squads coming off great adjustments at halftime.
No need for a common denominator….BUT since you asked bubba:
ITS COACHING

Elko is obviously kicking the crap out of the donkey “Mr offense genius”
Sark
And it’s not even close! Tremendous watching that offense fail to get a 1st down over and over…against Kentucky (dig those silver helmets). Believe or not I was one of the few week one with the Buckeyes and exploited the weakness of all the NEW pieces OL, QB, RB, WR. I won a few dimes that day and with 8 out of 10 squares here on Longhorns -3’
Made it that much better honestly. They were all so incorrect that day.
A&M GIG EM The organization of the players, the schemes being called, everything Coach Elko has done is top shelf.
The next best and actually I have him tied at first! Ryan Day ![]()
This dude, has a complete make over amongst his squad and new coaches everywhere…and same result!
He motivates, he encourages, and he has the pulse of his operation. He wins every game.
The only one close I’m leaving out would be old Kirby Smart. Cignetti is right there…what a bad ass currently
So these are the 4 coaches proving they’re the best so far…Day, Elko, Cignetti, Kirby in that order.
Ryan Day leads a Team that “just handles their business” ![]()

As a fan ya love Cignetti. As a bettor he pisses me off!
4&1 at the ten, two min to go, he kicks a fg and then Sparty goes length of field and kicks one too. If he is so "break their will" why does he not go on 4&1 up 25? Would rather see him get that 1st down and run the clock out then trade fg's. Add to that the 40yd safety a couple of weeks ago to blow that cover. Good luck Hoosiers, hope you win it all but I'm staying away from your games!!
Ohio St really has not been challanged and won't be regular season. Penn St? HA! Michigan? Too young. But their defense is for real. Seems like every foes TT has been under. And Buckeyes don't have a run game. 42 passes to 28 rushes vs Wisconsin. 98 net rushing yds. This will haunt them.
But I see it too, good consistent coaching reveals itself.
