Added UTEP as a pick. Should absolutely dominate in the trenches and even if we have a close game at the half UTEP OL/DL should wear down jax state and UTEP can lean into the running game to extend drives and move the chains. 

really like UTEP this year in the trenches and on the ground and can see them pulling away in this game. 41-24

 Me too but I watched it drop from 7.5 to 6.5 yesterday with 90% of tickets on NMSU though. 

For those that are betting on the overs for the total, watch out for the new clock rule in college football.  The new clock rule is that the game clock no longer stops on 1st downs except for the last 2 mins in the 2nd quarter and 4th quarter. That will probably decrease the number of plays each team get to run by 5-7 plays (rough estimation). We will have to wait and see how many plays it will actually decrease for each team throughout the season. The purpose is to decrease the length of football games. Well, the actual playing time in real time in college football games is fine.  It is the million commercials that are causing games to take 3 1/2 hours to complete.  I know commercials have to be run to pay the bills and other stuff, but sometimes I feel commercials are taking over the broadcast of a game, which makes it less enjoyable to watch on TV

took a play on La Tech Team total over 34.5, I can see them coming out firing against this woeful FIU defense, they are at home, and motivated to avenge the embarrassing loss last year against FIU, I think the bulldogs punch it in 5x or more on this opening night. I could see this high scoring affair landing the bulldogs in the 40s in this game. 

SD Local here.  Word is that SDSU offense has finally learned the forward pass and is taking it to the defense.  Trust Ohio to score and have to think that SDSU can score on Ohio if it is scoring on its own D.

added a bit more to UTEP, they are now my largest position of the weekend. 

I don’t know about the tempo but it wouldn’t surprise me given OC’s experience.  Apparently it was bombs away at practice and the QB/WRs have been on the same page.  I have only read this and haven’t seen it myself but it convinced me to take the over.  I am hoping it’s not the same old SDSu that’s shows up on Saturday….we’ll know on the first series though.  

If Kurtis Rourke gets some time, I think Ohio will put up 24+.....and hard for me to think Ohios defense is gonna keep any P5 team under 24.....should be a good one.....
