James Madison as the Group of Six Entry into the CFP?

The rest of their schedule is winnable and if they do so without a loss, they would finish as a 1 loss team.

Reason I bring it up is in the American, everyone keeps stumbling over themselves and looking towards the next week. Navy is undefeated but their schedule is tough coming home. Tulane just got blown out by UTSA. Memphis and North Texas both have 1 loss but they have tough games as well. Feels like the American could have a 2 or 3 loss champion.

Conference USA is out and so is the MAC.

Possibly the Mountain West if Boise runs the table? But if USF wins the American with 3 losses then they eliminate Boise because of Week 1's domination.

I'm not a fan of them. They did keep it close with Louisville. Just saying with all the chaos going on (which is always great) it could happen. 

 If they do......They will make it losing to Louisville and beating trash.

 Your right on SDST. They just keep on rolling. Like JMU, they need chaos to ensue over in the American. And if they finish as Conf Champ with only 1 loss, they definitely have a strong argument on getting in.

 JMU played there worst offense from Louisville up until ODU, they were doing a 2qb system, look at them now. They would wack any american team

They play Marshall in the Joan this Sat of the 75 memorial game “75” game 

The Herd tends to play well on the 75 game days 

maybe they pull the upset this week 

Their run game is extraordinary, fun to watch

No they don’t.  They lost to a dogshit FLORDIA team.  They should have lost to Kentucky and Miss St.  Texas dug its own grave.  There’s other teams who should be in over them.

Ok I get it, but after watching Tulane and JNU who the f is going to watch those games. They both worlds get so beat down against any SEC team yes even Fla. Come on NCAA You must get yourself together. Oh I forgot putting in Duke if they win from a sh"t ACC conference.

 Absolutely not. Arch and the team played well down the stretch. They were average at best for most of the season. Didn't look good in some of their wins to boot.

I wouldn’t mind watching Texas at Oregon and Miami at Ole Miss. JMU at Oregon and Tulane at Ole Miss? Not so much. 
If Duke wins tonight and we have two group of five teams in the playoff, we are going to have one crappy 1st round. 

they were playing better at the "right" time, which is end of the season.  Key injuries on defense really hurt them again Florida.  Arch didnt play well and the OLine was really bad.  they finally righted the ship later in the season.  defense was inconsistent.

they played tOSU the closest (7 points) and outyarded them by 100+.  beat 3 top 10 teams (Vandy, OU, TAMU).  had they not played tOSU game 1 and instead scheduled Oregon St, they would be in the CFP.  Hard to ignore the UF loss, but Bama lost to F$U....

Texas wasnt going to win it all so focusing the team on winning a NYD bowl and finishing on a high note going into 2026 isnt the worst thing.  Focus on getting the right pieces in place next year for a big run.
