Indiana Hoosiers vs. Ohio State Buckeyes

Indiana has not beaten Ohio State since 1988 and it seems unlikely they could beat this Buckeye Buzz saw.  

What Curt Cignetti has done with this Indiana program is also highly unlikely and really remarkable.   Cignetti's 23 wins in his first 2 seasons are 2nd most in big 10 history behind Urban Myer and Ohio State.  

I like how Indiana has been battle tested and executed well when the game was on the line vs quality Defenses.  

I like the Hoosiers Balanced Attack on offense. A 200 club member averaging 230 RYPG and 254 PYPG.  

I like the Hoosiers experienced QB and WR's 

I like how Cignetti keeps his foot on the gas and his teams don't let up.

I like the Undefeated Remarkable Coach with revenge.

In+13.5, Bama + 9.5. I feel the same. Moreover,  OSU prime for some sort of emotional letdown imo. No way can bring same intensity. Perhaps they can.

I think this could definitely be a good spot for IND as OhioSt is in the playoffs no matter what.

I know this. Thus, I think it’s a bigger deal for IND to win (injury risks be damned). OhioSt’s point of pride are national championships. Indiana will throw the kitchen sink at this game. That is not to say that they’ll cover, but that this would be the spot for them to cover against OhioSt.

 Still Think Buckeyes win SU.....

Ohio State was only battle tested week 1 vs Texas and I can't say they executed well in that game, it was more like Texas folding. Indiana will not fold.   Looking at the soft schedule they really did not face a solid QB/Offense,  Manning making his 1st start struggled to start the season.  Washington's QB D Williams completed 81% of his passes vs the Buckeyes and it was 7-3 at half.  The Huskies D played well and kept them in that game but the offense did not show as was the case the whole season. The Washington O line was not good.  Illinois Altmyer completed 68% for 248 yards vs the Buckeyes.  The Buckeyes have not faced a well balanced offense all season and I think Mendoza and the Hoosiers move the ball and execute when it matters most.  Ohio State Fr QB Sayin has played solid all season but he did have a pick and started slow vs Michigan.  This Ohio State team has benefited from a soft schedule and have never had to perform in crunch time when the lights are bright.  I think the Hoosiers keep it close and execute down the stretch.

It’s a very tough game, cheering for Indiana but a I cannot dismiss the Buckeyes, I lean Ohio state to cover.  

Should be a good one!    

Game will likely be rigged or highly influenced. Come on guys. They're both in the playoffs which is garnering the majority of viewers and future talent. Nobody on Covers is willing to admit it. This is 100% a chess game that will only favor bragging rights. The real prize starts on December 19th.

 I believe betting Indiana FH is the way to go here. OSU coming off an emotional victory against Michigan and the revenge factor from OSU beating Indiana last year will benefit Indiana. I think they come out amped up. I think they lead at halftime. Second half could be a different story.

Currently +2.5   Going to wait and see if I can get a 3.  

I would really like Indiana if Ohio St had been tested a little more down the stretch. Buckeye's did a good job of resting players all year. I just think they have a lot left in the tank. But not being tested much this year may hurt as well. Can't wait to watch it!
