I am so sick of the BCS there has got to be a better way...

I am sure i am not the only one who is sick and tired of the BCS bullshit your number 1 or 2 in the rankings you lose 1 game and now you are number 6 or 7.   Relating this to the NHL last year the Chicago Black Hawks lost 24 regular season games, certainly didn't win every playoff game and yet they were World and Stanley Cup Champions.  There has got to be a better way of doing this or just drop the entire BCS and just stick with Bowl Games and nobody is national champion. 

Can't complain as of yet...

 

AUBURN and OREGON are CLEARLY the two best teams in the country

The big thing is that those two will have to go undefeated or there will be a mess.  Boise State really needs Oregon to loose to make it to the championship.  If Auburn loses to Alabama and Alabama wins out they will leap frog Boise State and it will be Oregon to the championship.  Boise State and TCU are still a toss up at this point as well but they do need two of Oregon, Auburn and Alabama to loose for either of them to make it for sure.

I am sick and tired of the SEC always getting a default pass to the top 2. The SEC is not the same this year. Florida is a complete joke.

If Albama ends the season with one loss they will be in the national title game.  There is not another team in the country that will have finished with one loss and have played and beaten Penn State, Arkansas, Florida, LSU Mississippi State, Auburn and South Carolina(sec championship game).

BCS is always right in the end.  It makes college football more exciting as every week is a playoff game.

How can every week be a playoff game when you have so many conferences and every one says our conference is much stronger than yours so we should be number 1.  The ONLY way to decide a true champion is by elimination playoff like baseball, hockey, football NFL, the BCS is still bull shit.

Regular season means something? Like last week when Mizzou beat OK. Now Mizzou loses to bring the record even and they drop well below OK in all the polls.

I guess what the regular season means, is different for different teams.

Lets not forget the epic fail of 08 where Texas was the best team in the country and a team they beat got voted into the championship.

No, there are just 3 or 4 games that are playoff setting but the other 50 that saturday are meaningless. That doesnt happen in college basketball. At least those games are jockying for a tourney berth. I hate how people think all college football games mean something. What did arizona at ucla mean? Nothing at all. Arizona is a decent team. 16th in country i think. Thats a tourney team in bball. Not in shitty college football

lol Every week is not a playoff game dumbest comment ever,all the regular season does is crown the 6 bcs conference champs,there isnt nearly enough non conference games between top teams  to decide who the best teams are.Only way to get a real champ is with some kind of playoff

Agree they have got to come up with a way to have playoffs between the conference winners to get a real champion.  I know i have mention this before maybe start right into conference play and elimnate the first few meaningless non conference games then start a 3 week playoff series between the conference winners.  There are 12 conferences first week down to 6 second week down to 3.  Of the three remaining teams the team that had the best record in conference play gets a bye to the championship game the other two playoff for their chance to go to the championship game.  Only a suggestion but please something other than this bullshit BCS.

SEC West looks better than it is this year because of overinflated records beating up on bad SEC East teams.

I consider Auburn a fraud.  I remember before the season people were talking about how nicely their schedule set up for an undefeated season...  all their difficult games up to Alabama were at home, and they still haven't beaten anyone top caliber.  They might be a nice fade in two weeks @ UGA.

As for playoffs, that has been a debate for decades and decades.  I love how the geniuses chime in with their playoff suggestions and systems like it's some new revelation.  Playoffs are not happening unless there is some outside intervention. 

To hear some people talk about it though, college football was just fine until the BCS came along and ruined everything.  At least we have a championship game now, and it's no longer possible for some mid-major to win the title by beating a 6-6 team at the Holiday Bowl.  I have no problem with the current system, and actually think it is healthy for college football because of all the debate and controversy it generates.

If it were baseball we would be watching Tampa Bay and Philadelphia instead of San fransico ant Texas...

I guess that explains it as good as can be explained.
