yes they will be and I find that to be fantastic too. The favorites almost swept the bracket last season so these soft teams like Notre Dame will be exposed.
The bracket being so new it’s hard to get a strong feeling that a lot of dogs will be covering. The bottom line even in basketball brackets the best teams stand out, the weak bounce out early. Last year that didn’t happen. We will see if I am right this season
If people hate Domers, good for them but you seem to be blinded. Were you this upset when GT moved to #8 even though there probably isn't a team in top 25, except BYU, they could beat? Losing to 4-4 NC State, a team missing their top running back and a leading receiver, by double digits with GT giving up close to 600 yards in offense? Really?

The fact is any teams in a conference have to continue winning games and stay at the top of their conference to continue being ranked high…Notre Dame can lose their couple decent games and then beat cellar dwellers the rest of the way yet continue to go up the rankings…anywhere else you beat the other top teams to maintain the top or you slide down…Notre Dame doeent have to beat any top teams from any conference yet they go up and up in the rankings.

when NOTD plays a better team ranked in the top 12 they do well if they are highly favored. But if the line is a favorite from -9.5 to -1 or a dog they rarely win. That is in non-hone games.

Notre Dame was up less than a TD against 1-7 Boston College yesterday. They should have dropped in the rankings, not moved up. USC is the only respectable team they have beaten. You look at the rest of the schedule and they play Syracuse, Stanford and Pitt. Outside of Pitt the other 2 teams are complete garbage. Yet they win those games and they will move up again. And while the rest of the conferences beat each other up and losses accumulate everywhere, Notre Dame will keep moving up and will probably be rewarded with a home playoff game, which they don't deserve.
Not sure why you are bringing up Georgia Tech. They are in a Power 4 conference and were undefeated. They had to be ranked accordingly for the time being. Doesn't mean they are a true threat.

GT is a mediocre team that won games against other mediocre teams. They moved up the rankings because they kept winning, the same as ND is doing. The difference in the 2 is conference affiliation. Using your logic, ND shouldn't be ranked because they're not in a conference. Is that your position? Do you think ND could hold their own with most teams in the top10? Do you think GT could hold their own with most teams in the top10? Personally, I'm a Fordham fan. I simply don't understand the infantile obsession that ND haters have. They obviously have a very good team but BYU and GT being in the top 10 brings silence.

You simply don’t get how things work…Ohio St was awarded a home game and a week to rest instead of going to play in the Big Ten title game…that gave them all the momentum they needed to make a run…if you carry water then at least know the facts
Ohio St losing to Michigan was the best thing that happened to them when it came to winning a title. They were going to have to play 4 games from that point anyway…so being mad for a month and getting awarded a fraudulent home game instead of having to go on the road..but it was really the committee stupid seeding process that caused this issue by awarding the conference champs automatic top seeds. Funny how that screwed the Vols the most as they would have been home to an Indiana, Arizona State type team.
Funny you wanted to call out the Vols for the Sec sake…considering Ohio st hammered every team during playoffs and the Vols were the only team that had to go play in that overrated stadium with their spoiled fan base. The Vols were the lowest Sec team to make it in and had to go unfairly play on the road at the future national champs. You are a joke dude.

That’s exactly what Notre Dame has done…yet here we are with Notre Dame in the top 10 with two losses and beating mediocre teams while Ga Tech is down at 16 with only one loss doing the exact same thing. Texas meanwhile has two losses and is ranked lower and has beaten better teams than Notre Dame will and didnt have to schedule a loss at Ohio st but that’s the way it is. Just call it what it is man, Notre Dame has to do less than everyone else to make it in the playoffs and be ranked high.

Notre Dame is somehow ranked 10th but haven't beaten anyone and their final 3 games are either okay (Pitt) or garabge teams. Which means if they win out, they are probably going to move up into the top 6 - 8 and be rewarded in hosting a playoff game. They haven't shown anything to be ranked this high.
Regarding your obsession with Georgia Tech and BYU. Yes they were (GA Tech) undefeated but they have tougher schedules to finish the year. Furthermore, if they play in Conference championship games against good competition (who will be ranked when they play).
Too add on top of that, BYU did beat top 25 Utah this year. So to say they haven't beaten anyone is ridiculous. We get to find out this weekend how good they are when they go to Lubbock to play Texas Tech.
