Has there ever been a player so grossly,inaccurately over hyped as Manning?

I can't think of one. As others were excluded who r having very good seasons. Yet,without the name,pedigree.  Frankly, all the Manning hype, overexposure is a bit much to me. Our own QB,Gunner Stockton, has better stats...with no hype. Playing agst a tougher SOS too . Gotta give Napier credit today..Huge win for all involved.

The Manning hype has been so widespread,across many CFB media dynamics, figures.  Got tired of hearing about it ,for one, on ESPN. All the time. Anything to increase ratings,right?

That was the key to this game. Florida superior SOS to Texas and Manning hype. Florida off 2 tough team road losses and installed as the home dog... reading that Sagarin chart is a craft

Looking forward to watching this FSU,Mia game. Met Coach Bowden once here. FCA. Shortly after free shoes university incident. A good man.. His biography is a good read. Moreover,ESPN did a great documentary on Schellenberger and his efforts,impact on the budding Mia program.  Recruiting in the hood,etc. Unheard of at the time. A good story.
