Malzahn used to be a great offensive mind. I coached back 10 years ago and we copied his system verbatim and we obliterated our league for two years. However, in the last few years he has definitely fallen behind the times and does questionable shit. Dude was an incredible high school coach. he was like 144-30 with three or four state titles
