Tulsa coach knows he's not going to win the game thus why the 3 to not make the team look so bad with the score especially when they have the team offense average to beat.  

 

Coach needa to keep his job too.  Lose but make the score looks pretty kind of a deal. 

 

Then again, why get 3 when you can get 7?  TD is just right there.

Hey Guys - I know people got moosed, but kicking the FG from where they were on the field was the right-play. If they were closer, you go for the TD. They needed a FG and 2-TDs to tie.

It's like saying, let's go for 2 when you are still in the first quarter.  

Why not go for 7, onside get the ball n go for another 7, onside then the fg is just right there?

It's a different way to slice it.  A fg is easy, a TD is hard.  This Tulsa team wants to do easy, then hard then another hard.  I rather go for 7 or get the hard way out of the way n even if that's the last score, a 7 added to the score can help with their team analytics. 

Maybe that's why pee wee League doesn't even want me on a volunteer coaching position. an_roll_laugh
