Rematch as you all know of the earlier two point win for OKL in Tuscaloosa. The difference in the game, Bama had 3 TO's, OKL had zero, there you go. Digging deeper Bama actually had almost twice as many yards of offense as Okl, 406-212 and 11 more first downs, 23-12.
TE Josh Cuevas and RB Jam Miller return from injuries for Bama. Cuevas had 6 catches and a TD in the first game for Bama vs OKL, he's a key cog for Bama and his ability to move the chains, especially against this stout OKL defense.
DE end Mason Thomas returns for OKL, he's a star player who'll be welcomed back and QB John Mateer is said to be at 100% (hand).
These conference rematches between comparable teams can be tough to cap but in spite of laying an egg against an outstanding Georgia defense, I look for the Tide to bounce back against a team they had some overall offensive success in the previous encounter. The Tide defense was outstanding vs OKL and have to feel pretty good going into tonight.
Listen in these likely close matchups, comes down to TOs more often than not. Have to believe Bama is still smarting from the 3 they committed that cost them the previous game while still only losing by two points. I look for Bama to be more focused and prideful after the Georgia ass whipping and an OKL loss that maybe got away from them, find a way to win in what has late game, one score win written all over it.
