I saw some posts yesterday that were thinly veiled accusations. Since they were not true I will confront the issue right here.
All plays are my own. During the week I work late. If I have a post it goes up when I log on. Then I look around the forum to see what's going on.
During the last week, some of my winning plays included:
MSU/PSU over
DePaul over
Purdue +3 (Sunday)
Also, last Friday night I was one of the first to post Pitt +3 in my thread. Others played that one also. No problem. It's a free country...
Some other plays will at times coincide with many other posters. There are hundreds of posters on Covers. It's not like when a person makes a post that is their play exclusively and others have not capped it.
Last night on a very thin card (only 2 TV games) I was on Cuse. I posted my play with a write up that ended up being spot on. Then it was suggested the play was tailed?? Not true.
This is the same handicapper (me) that killed CFB all year and went 25-12 in the College Bowls, killed the NFL and went 11-4 in the playoffs. And that's just this year!
I don't need any help handicapping. The long term record speaks for itself.
With all that being said, I'll let this slide just once. Maybe it was just "Manny being Manny" as they say...who I always thought was a standup guy.
I do find it odd that I posted on Sunday afternoon in my thread that I saw steam coming in on Minny and someone backed off their Iowa play a few minutes later. That was interesting!
