sitting here looking at games for Monday, you have a lot of smaller teams playing bigger teams, looks like quite a few bigger spreads, only game that has stood out so far is maybe Seattle at UTSA  Seattle on paper looks a lot better, shooting big-time , Seattle much better record , but they are on the road , even their away stats are so much better than UTSA's home stats, shooting 50% to 35%  2 pt shooting 57% to 42%  3 pt shooting 37% to 27%  14 assist to 9 assist , away shooting 49% UTSA home shooting 27%, away 2 pt shooting 55% to home shooting for UTSA 30%  away 3 pt shooting 38% to utsa's 3 pt home shooting of 25% I mean just shoot your average and they should win this easy, no good trends to go by except as a favorite Seattle is 6-2 Over ..UTSA as a dog is 2-6 ATS and at home 0-2 ATS ..Seattle is 10-2 this year , they have won both away games this year str up...I mean ML play for sure Seattle  they are -8  this is going to be a busy week  I cant wait till teams are all playing conf games  wont be so many 35 pt spreads

3-3 yesterday  lost 1st 3 won last 3   hit 2 of 3 teasers  did hit the 5 team parlay  lost 2 parlays FB did well but would have done a lot better if Detroit had just won the game  we had some really good games yesterday    so many of these bowl games are going to be junk I think, so many players opting out makes it hard to handicap  playoffs will be fun

I am taking Coastal Carolina +9 -120  CC is 6-6 they rebound well, they hold teams to under 30% from 3, they have played a lot of road games so far, so nothing new here, st Joe's has not been a good cover at home or as a favorite this year as they are 1-5 ats as a fav, and 1-3 ATS as a home favorite, the total here is 146, and CC is 6-2 over away this year and st Joe's is 3-1 over at home , so this should be looked into in my opinion  ..2-3 days off CC is 3-1 ATS and st Joe's is 0-3 ATS

I do kind of like W.georgia +35.5 36 today vs Georgia  and the over is 170 I think this could go over also, Georgia gave up over 80 pts to Tenn Tech, Morehead st, and w.carolina  those are some smaller schools like a w Georgia team, and Georgia to be honest could go over 100 today, W Georgia is 4-1 ats after a win, yes the win was against a d-2 school but I would think that still counts, and they are 4-1 as an away dog, 4-2 as a dog, this could be a 104-75 type of game  I do not usually fuck around with huge spreads, maybe I should  in the past years I would not even look into a game where the spread was over 12, I always had much more success sticking with games where either team could win, , maybe not this year so far as I am at least 20 wins short of where I usually am , usually I am about 210-130 area , yea I have had some tuff losses but also had some flat out bad picks  so today I am going to try one of these big spread plays , wg lost by 33 at Nebraska and by 21 at UCLA

last year UC Santa Barbara beat up on Portland at Portland by about 40 pts. and UCSB has at least 3 of their better players back this year, don't see any from Portland  but Portland is 1-5 ATS as a dog , they beat them 94-53 2nd game of the year, a game where everyone got in for ucsb  line is 9.5 this time UCSB is at home, they took are only 2-5 ATS as a favorite   so maybe just a stay away   I don't usually go by last years games with NIL and stuff , but sometimes these smaller schools are able to keep a majority of their players, in these smaller schools have a standout player, believe me the Big schools come in and swoop them right up

I did lay off Seattle only because I have been slumping  not sure how others handicapp  I pretty show how I do, I try to put everything in there, but I still think shooting is huge, and rebounding and assist and turnovers basically the main things, then if trends fit I like it better, and I also like if a team averages more shots each game than the other team,    Seattle up 13 at half, they have taken 36 shots to 28 for UTSA, they have 8 offensive boards to just 4 for UTSA, and they have forced 8 to's to just 4 for them and they have 9 assist at half, to just 4 for UTSA  those things matter    like I said not sure how others cap, but when you watch a game just listen to what the announcers are always talking about what's important  assist, turnovers, shooting %, offensive boards  common sense  I mean games not over  but if the other team takes 10 more shots than you do, then you have to shoot a higher % than they do   just need to get a run going hopefully I'll be fine

UTSA making a run down 6 now and now they are shooting the same as Seattle  43%  and they have caught up on shots taken    why some bet halves     I hope UTSA comes thru for the person I said , if they keep doing what they been doing 2nd half they will
