Insider Info on Marquette

Just received a message from edited that Dominic James has been cleared to play today against Missouri! This is awesome news for Marquette, even if he isn't 100%.
It makes me like Missouri a little less, but the over a lot more. The team gets much better shots with James at the point and McNeal can spot up where he's more effective rather than have to handle the ball.

If I hear how much James is expected to play or how healthy he truly is, I will update the news on this thread.

In what could only be termed a stunning development, senior guard Dominic James has been cleared to play this afternoon in the Marquette Golden Eagles' second-round NCAA tournament game against the Missouri Tigers.

where did u get this news from? he was supposed to be out for year no exceptions idk how valid this is...

Hes not even a top 3 scorer, and if that is true how is that this Marquette Golden Eagles only got 4pts to compete?

they blocked my link to the article...it says he practiced for 90 minutes today and was cleared. Not known if he'll start, but said his minutes will most likely be limited

Just wondering how/if it will affect the line. I still plan on taking mizzou, but will wait now hoping ithe line drops a little.

Wow, pretty sweet. Great job, Mizzu is a very tough team. I don't know what to think of the impact, he will probably play 20 minutes tops if I had to make a guess from that article

Guys if James was really playing, wouldn't the news be posted all over espn and everywhere else? I can't find one other site with this info. Not to mention the oddsmakers get the news before anyone and the line has not changed because of it. I hope he plays, it would be great for him to get the chance, but idk how legit this is....

This guy been out since 2/25/09 the line is already priced in, but if he returns the line will go back to 3.5.

"The thing that I'm excited about is we're going to give him an opportunity to close out his career in the best way he possibly could. And I think the recovery has been due in large part to his work, but also because of the wisdom of Ernest (Eugene) and Dr. (Darrin) Maccoux.

"He worked out the day we got here, he worked out Friday morning before our game, worked out Friday night, practiced with us today," Williams said. "So medically he's been cleared, but how much he'll be able to contribute, I don't know."

When I posted this it wasn't. I NEVER said the story wasn't true whatsoever or anything close to it. I simply said we should wait to here more info before jumping to immediate conclusions. Read it again before making dumbass comments next time. Anyways Wilterdink, good job on getting the story first
